TULA C Foundation Kenya was not born in a boardroom—it was born in the heart of the community.
Our story began in the hills and valleys of Kenya’s Rift Valley region, where we saw bright ideas dimmed by lack of opportunity, and potential held back by poverty. In these rural communities, especially in Elgeyo Marakwet, we witnessed untapped talent in farming, business, and innovation. What was missing wasn’t the will—it was access, knowledge, and support.
Motivated by these everyday heroes—young people with dreams, women leading families, farmers with untold wisdom—we set out to be more than an NGO. We became a movement for empowerment.
What started as small workshops in village centers quickly grew into something bigger. We began to build programs around real needs: sustainable agriculture training, entrepreneurship coaching, and creative innovation spaces where youth could solve problems using technology and tradition.
As we grow, so does our impact. TULA C is now expanding deeper into Elgeyo Marakwet, standing beside communities as they rise, learn, and lead. Each person we reach adds a new chapter to our story—and we’re just getting started.
We believe in progress built from the ground up, and we walk every step with the people we serve.
At TULA C Foundation, our greatest accomplishment is walking alongside communities as they rise.
We’ve trained hundreds of smallholder farmers in sustainable practices, supported young entrepreneurs in launching local businesses, and built safe innovation spaces for youth to design homegrown solutions using both technology and tradition.
We're proudest of the spark we've seen in people—the young woman who turned a kitchen garden into a family enterprise, the student who built a solar dryer from recycled parts, the farmer who now trains others. These are more than programs—they are seeds of lasting change.
